The semi-gloss coated surface of HERMASuper 60 offers an excellent quality of the imprint with all conventional printing methods. The material is suited for high-quality labels with multi-colour imprint as well as for thermal transfer printing.
The pulp for this paper comes from FSC® certified forest management and other controlled sources.
Adhesive 63Spc was specially developed to have extremely high tack on various substrates. Because of the high final adhesion 63Spc is very suitable for long-term identification, for labelling of difficult substrates and non-polar surfaces. This new kind of an adhesive gives on various substrates like PE, PET, aluminium, steel etc. similarly extreme high final adhesion values. Therefore it is suitable with the right face material or security die cutting as a tamper-evident-solution or as a seal for originality. Depending on the substrate the final adhesion will be reached in some cases in 24 hours. The tamper-evident-function is thus influenced by the surface (in folded boxes from the applied varnish) and by design of the substrate, by the design of the label and by the conditions in the end use. 63Spc has a particularly good resistant against light, heat and aging.
The supercalendered glassine is perfectly suited for assignment in labelling machines equipped with optical or mechanical scanners.Very good die-cutting characteristics on all usual machines. Because of the high tack and increased coat weight the matrix stripping is recommended to do immediately at/after die cutting.
As part of a self-adhesive compound HERMA PW (525) offers excellent die-cutting characteristics with all customary flatbed and rotary die-cutting tools.Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.
The shelf life is one year from date of production.
The pressure-sensitive adhesive 63Spc can be safely used for the back coating of labels for the labelling of foodstuffs for storage at room temperature and below. It may be used in direct contact with dry and moist, non-fatty foodstuffs (Declaration of no objection valid until 02.09.2027).
The paper complies with recommendation BfR XXXVI.Label material
