Thanks to its special surface treatment the glossy surface of HERMA PP white solid tc offers an excellent printing quality in all conventional printing methods like e.g. UV flexographic printing. Corona treating is not advisable.
The primer on the back ensures perfect anchorage of the adhesive. In combination with the appropriate adhesive, this product is perfect for applications where the removability of the label is required.
This film is not intended for use in unprinted zigzag applications, in which the coated print surface is in contact with itself.
HERMA PP white solid tc is perfect for the production of optically demanding, glossy, non-transparent labels. For recycling reasons these labels are preferably used on PP surfaces.
HERMA PP white solid tc is particularly suitable for labelling cosmetic products, cleaning agents etc., as well as for applications demanding resistance to chemicals or weather.
The adhesive 62F is used everywhere, where high transparency with low tendency to creep is wished. The combination of a high tack and a high cohesion, which reduces the adhesive bleed, together with a very good final adhesion characterises the 62F. Further-more the UV-stability is extremely high and wetting on polar surfaces like glass and steel very good. In addition 62F features an extremely good resistance against whitening. Therefore it is predestined for use as No-Label-Look-labels also in printing with UV inks. The 62F has an excellent resistance to aging, heat, water and light.
The supercalendered glassine is perfectly suited for assignment in labelling machines equipped with optical or mechanical scanners.Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.
The shelf life is two years from date of production.
HERMA PP white solid tc is in compliance with Commission Regulations (EC) no. 1935/2004 and (EU) no. 10/2011 as amended on plastics and articles intended to come into contact with food as well as of Regulat ion (EC) no. 2023/2006 on good manufacturing practice for materials and articles intended to come into contact with food.
All ingredients of adhesive 62F comply with recommendation FDA 21 CFR 175.105 (Adhesives).
The paper liner complies with recommendation BfR XXXVI.
