HERMAnature fieno (340) is made of 30 % grass fibre and 70 % virgin pulp. With its special look and feel, the material creates an authentic natural impression.
Compared to pulp production, the energy consumption can be reduced by 97 % and the water consumption by 99 % during the preparation of the grass fibres. In total, approx. 20 % CO2 can be saved in the production of grass paper.
HERMAnature fieno (340) shows very good printing results in offset and flexographic printing. Preliminary tests are recommended.
The colour of the ecological, sustainable paper depends on the grass raw material used and can therefore vary from batch to batch.
Adhesive 62A is a universally applicable permanent adhesive with excellent adhesion properties on various surfaces. It features very high adhesion on both polar and nonpolar (PE) surfaces. The adhesive is suitable for autoclave sterilisation, preferably in combination with vellum paper. The adhesive is highly water proof and particularly resistant to light, heat and ageing.
Typical areas of application for this coated kraft liner are computer labels for laser printers (continuous or sheet stock), which require higher stiffness.Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.
The shelf life is two years from date of production.
All ingredients of adhesive 62A comply with recommendation FDA 21 CFR 175.105 (Adhesives).
The pressure-sensitive adhesive 62A can be safely used for the back coating of labels for the labelling of foodstuffs for storage at room temperature and below. It may be used in direct contact with dry, moist and fatty foodstuffs that can be assigned a correction factor of at least 3 in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011. Furthermore, the adhesive may be used for laminating various materials. In this case, cut edge contact with food is harmless as far as the above mentioned adhesive is concerned. It must be ensured that the relevant migration limits are complied with by the laminated packaging (Declaration of no objection valid until 29.11.2025).
Furthermore the self-adhesive labels with the adhesive 62A can be used for labelling of blood bags (Expert's Opinion from November 11, 2021).
The paper complies with recommendation BfR XXXVI.Label material
