The calendered surface of HERMAwhite 170 offers a good quality of the imprint with all conventional printing methods.
HERMAwhite 170 is particularly suitable for thick and stiff specialty labels such as ring labels. With its relatively high stiffness, this material should not be used on curved surfaces.
Adhesive 94C is characterized by extremely high adhesion to a great variety of surfaces, even critical substrates such as packing films, tyres or rough surfaces. The adhesive is perfectly suited for col d-storage applications on cold and humid surfaces. The supercalendered glassine is perfectly suited for assignment in labelling machines equipped with optical or mechanical scanners.Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.
The shelf life is one year from date of production.
The cardboard complies with the legal requirements of the European Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 as well as with §§ 30, 31 LFGB and BfR Recommendation XXXVI provided that the material is only used in direct contact with dry, non-fatty foodstuffs.
