Application and use

Due to its special coat the glossy surface of HERMA PP white tc offers an excellent print quality in all conventional printing methods.

The primer on the back ensures perfect anchorage of the adhesive. In combination with the appropriate adhesive, this product is perfect for applications where the removability of the label is required.

This film is not intended for use in unprinted zigzag applications, in which the coated print surface is in contact with itself.

HERMA PP white tc suits perfectly for the production of optically superior glossy, non-transparent labels. For recycling reasons these labels are preferably used on PP surfaces.

This material is particularly suitable for the labelling of cosmetics, toiletries and household chemicals, where durability and resistance to weathering, moisture and chemicals is required. It will also function well in delamination processes.

Adhesive 42X is used where good release of the label at high initial adhesion is required. The low final tack of the adhesive provides good release on a variety of surfaces. The combination of resistance to various media, low final tack and high cohesion predestines the 42X pressure sensitive adhesive for resealable labels. Multiple opening and reclosing works very well on all common plastic surfaces.

42X shows good resistance to water, oils and other liquids. Furthermore, the adhesive has a particularly good resistance to light, moisture and ageing.

The supercalendered glassine is perfectly suited for assignment in labelling machines equipped with optical or mechanical scanners.
