Thanks to its special surface treatment the glossy surface of HERMA PP white light offers an excellent quality of the imprint in conventional printing methods like e.g. UV flexographic printing. This film is not intended for use in unprinted zigzag applications, in which the coated print surface is in contact with itself.
HERMA PP white light is perfect for the production of visually appealing, glossy, non-transparent labels. The nacreous look of the film adds an exquisite touch to the labels. This BOPP film is particularly suitable for labelling cosmetic products, cleaning agents etc., as well as for applications demanding resistance to chemicals or weather.
The adhesive 72Hpw was developed for applications where the label has to be removed in warm caustic water (80 °C and 1-2% NaOH).72Hpw was specially developed for PET bottles, e.g. for the beverage, detergents, cosmetics and personal care, which can be recycled in standard industrial recycling plants. When the PET bottles are introduced into the recycling process, the label with adhesive is removed from the PET without leaving any residue so that the PET can be recycled cleanly.
Typical uses for this biaxially stretched polyester film are high-speed labelling machines with optical or mechanical scanning.Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.
The shelf life is one year from date of production.
