HERMA rPP white is made of 30 % mechanical recycled post consumer recyclate according to EN 15343:2007. Thanks to its special surface treatment the glossy surface of HERMA rPP white offers an excellent printing quality in conventional printing methods like e.g. UV flexographic printing.
This film is not intended for use in unprinted zigzag applications, in which the coated print surface is in contact with itself.
HERMA rPP white is perfect for the production of optically demanding, glossy, non-transparent labels. For recycling reasons these labels are preferably used on PP surfaces.
The adhesive has been specifically developed for label applications where residue-free removal of the label material in the PET and HDPE recycling stream is required. In addition, the transparent adhesive is also suitable for applications on glass and PP surfaces, providing good resistance to aging, heat, and light.
The supercalendered glassine is perfectly suited for assignment in labelling machines equipped with optical or mechanical scanners.PET Recycling:The label material can be separated without residues in the PET recycling stream. It is certified by cyclos-HTP to have no negative effects on the recycling of PET bottles or trays (80 °C).
HDPE Recycling:The material can be completely separated in the HDPE stream by cold washing (40 °C). It is fully compatible with rigid HDPE recycling stream according to RecyClass and cyclos-HTP .
Storing at a temperature of 20 ± 5 °C, a relative humidity of 45 ± 5 % and a dark storage is recommended. Moisture, heat and direct sunlight have to be avoided.
The shelf life is one year from date of production.
The pressure-sensitive adhesive 72Hpw can be safely used for the back coating of labels for the labelling of foodstuffs for storage at room temperature and below. It may be used in direct contact with dry, moist and fatty foodstuffs that can be assigned a correction factor of at least 2 in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011. (Declaration of no objection valid until 06.11.2026)
The paper complies with recommendation BfR XXXVI.Label material
